QCS Cleaning takes care of office mess

“Our business was formed to meet and exceed specific cleaning needs of the commercial business owner,” said Mike Quinn, who owns the business with his wife Debbie.

QCS provides general office cleaning for any size business or building; industrial or commercial cleaning, floor care, carpet care and windows and residential carpet and windows for businesses in Stark and surrounding counties.

When dealing with Mike and Debbie, customers are dealing with experienced, hands-on owners.

Debbie has 14 years experience in the hospitalitycommercial cleaning field and 10 years experience in the health care industry. To inquire about QCS services, the following procedure takes place.

“A customer will call us,” said Mike. “We make an appointment. At the appointment, we inspect and tour the facility, find out the expectations of the customer and then make a recommendation. We put together a proposal and a contract.”

But that is not the last you will see of Mike and Debbie.

“We continually do on-going inspections of our employees work,” said Mike. “We work hard to ensure our performance is always good. We do constant follow-ups and ask the customer to fill out a survey. We also schedule meetings with our clients.

“The first day on a job, Debbie is usually there cleaning and working with the lead project manager for that team. Debbie and I physically clean with our employees. We are hands on boss.”

Mike said that for bigger projects, they have a person in charge of that building, a supervisorand inspector. The formula seems to be paying off for QCS.

“The last two years, our business has seen growth,” said Mike. “Our services have expanded to assist other businesses beautify their facilities for their employees and customers.”

QCS uses the latest products in the industry.

“Recently, we switched from using conventional mops to using MICRO-FIBER mops,” said Mike. “This technology greatly improves
the cleaning of floors by actually picking up the dirt as compared to just spreading the dirt when using conventional mops.”

QCS uses environmentally safe products. Mike said the business continues to search for new products, processes and continually updates his staff by providing seminar training classes. He said they do not purchase there cleaning chemicals “off the shelf ”

Mike and Debbie Quinn have operated their business since April of 2004. Originally, the business started out of their house. In the last three years since Mike has come on board full time, business has doubled. QCS has 40 employees.
